Mika Nishikaze - Mika is excited to be starting a new career as an Assistant in the House of Children at Echo. She became interested in the Montessori Method when she enrolled her son in a Montessori Toddler Program in 2009. She saw her son thrive in the classroom, and she wanted to learn more about Montessori so that she could apply her philosophy at home. Mika attended the Toronto Montessori Institute and completed an Early Childhood Paraprofessional course. Mika also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo. With understanding and appreciation for the Montessori method of education she looks forward to working with your children in the classroom.
